APPG meets with Canadian Parliamentarians

Following the welcome news that the Canadian Government has formally requested to negotiate a new social security agreement with the UK to cover the uprating of pensions, Sir Roger Gale MP chaired a virtual meeting with Canadian parliamentarians to discuss how both nations can work together to end the frozen pensions injustice.

The APPG is most grateful to all Canadian attendees for their views and insights, and particularly to the Minister for Seniors, Deb Schulte, for providing the Canadian Government’s perspective.
