Ian Blackford elected as APPG Vice-Chair

The SNP’s Pensions Spokesperson and newly elected MP for Ross, Skye and Lochaber, Ian Blackford, has become a Vice Chair of the APPG on Frozen British Pensions.

After the election it was felt important to recognise the status of the newly enlarged SNP group through the creation of an additional officer position on the APPG.

APPG Chairman, Sir Roger Gale MP, welcomed Ian Blackford’s election as an officer saying: “The APPG has always enjoyed strong support from SNP members and I am delighted that Ian has stepped forward to become a Vice Chair of the group.

“I look forward to working with him and other supportive SNP Members as we campaign on this issue in the months ahead.”
