Frozen pensions policy questioned in House of Lords

Today, Lord Polak, Conservative Peer, urged the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Levelling-Up, Housing and Communities, Baroness Scott of Bybrook, to resolve the frozen pensions policy which is affecting members of the Windrush Generation who have returned to their country of birth.

British pensioners in all but two Caribbean countries have ‘frozen’ UK state pensions. This leaves many facing financial hardship as their pension falls in value year-on-year.

    Can anyone tell what the APPG has achieved or is attempting to achieve for Frozen British Pensioners through their regular meetings for which Tendo Consulting are the secretariat paid for by the International Frozen Pensioner groups? Thank you.
